While their engagement was never confirmed, the duo had broken up by 2014.

Lana Del Rey told the German-language Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten that while O'Neill was "a wonderful person....there are some things he has to deal with."

She added: "This was hard on our relationship. I no longer felt free."

O'Neill later revealed that he found out that Lana had moved on from the media.
