Michelle Keegan ditches wedding ring for Revlon event... despite partying with Mark Wright's sisters

MICHELLE Keegan raised more questions about the state of her marriage to Mark Wright after she ditched her wedding ring for a red carpet event on Thursday night.

The former Coronation Street actress attended the Revlon Choose Love Masquerade Ball in London, fulfilling her role as ambassador for the beauty brand.

But eagle-eyed onlookers quickly noted that the 29-year-old was not actually wearing her wedding ring, choosing to sport a thick silver band instead.

Michelle seemed to make a point of flashing her left hand, despite the fact her stunning engagement ring and wedding band had been replaced.

However, a spokesperson for Michelle told The Sun online: "Michelle's ring means so much to her that she's always really careful with it.

"It's got huge sentimental value as it reminds her of the best day of her life so she never wants to lose it.
"It's ironic that being so careful to protect her wedding ring means she's constantly battling rumours her marriage is in trouble.

"Michelle went straight from the ball to catch a train to Manchester to continue to film scenes from Tina and Bobby therefore she'd left the ring in the safe at home as she's not able to wear it whilst working."

The actress married former TOWIE star Mark in May last year, but in recent months the couple have been dogged by rumours that their union is already on the rocks.

Last night Michelle looked happy and comfortable as she spent time with her sister-in-laws, Jessica and Natalya Wright.

The star is currently filming three part drama Tina and Bobby for ITV, and has dyed her naturally brunette locks bright blonde for the role of Tina Dean, childhood sweetheart and wife of 1966 England World Cup hero Bobby Moore.

The event on Thursday night was not the first time Michelle has been pictured without her wedding ring, but despite their busy schedules, the couple have put on a united front whenever they have had the chance to spend quality time together.

After Mark played in the annual Soccer Aid match last month, he shared a snap of him and his beautiful wife in the changing rooms, adding the caption: "Man of the match, I scored, England won and this one joined us in the dressing room after…. Couldn’t wish for a better prize waiting for me xxx OH WHAT A NIGHT !! One I will never forget.”

Michelle was wearing her wedding bling at the charity event, and tweeted how proud she was of her husband.

She wrote: "Amazing night! SO proud of @MarkWright_ for absolutely smashing it! Well done to every1 involved for raising money for such a good cause."
